Vic: Tent protesters brave rain after run-in with jogger
Aboriginal protesters in a Melbourne park will brave the rain for a second night after
losing their tents through a Supreme Court order.
About five men will spend the night guarding their ceremonial fire in Kings Domain.
Police were called to the camp this morning after a woman complained about the group.
Police say the female jogger wanted to have a look at the fire .. and there was a brief
confrontation with one of the people present.
Acting Senior Sergeant SHARON ROONEY says there was a misunderstanding after the woman
approached the sacred fire site .. and she was asked to leave by a man holding a stick.
Police say no action will be taken.
