FED:Lesson for Gillard in tangled web
The federal opposition says the problems with the government's My School website reflect
a larger .. underlying problem.
The revamped My School website was due to be launched tomorrow .. but has now been
put off until next year because of problems with financial data.
Opposition education spokesman CHRISTOPHER PYNE says Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD was
desperate for a headline after having been accused of policy paralysis by her own party.
He says .. as a result .. she announced something that wasn't ready .. which is terribly
embarrassing for her.
The glitch came as another much-vaunted program .. to subsidise households for installing
rooftop solar panels .. was scaled down.
Other Gillard government policies are also under threat including the health agreement
and national education reforms.
